Dealer Sales History and Analysis

We are very pleased to announce a new version of FurnishWEB launching just a few weeks after our last release and just in time for the High Point Furniture Market. FurnishWEB now has screens for Dealer Sales Analysis! This type of reporting has been one of the top requests from our clients and their users. We're are very glad to meet these requests and provide yet more value to our customers.

FurnishWEB accumulates and summarizes invoice sales information by customer and product for sales analysis and reporting. We've taken this summarized data and provided several online tools creating a more meaningful understanding of each dealer's sales history.

Dealer Dashboard Updates
On the Dealer Dashboard there are two new pieces of information; Collections Year-To-Date (YTD) and Top Sellers YTD. The Collections pie chart displays the collections a dealer has purchased most in the current year. The Top Sellers lists the top 10 products the dealer purchased this year.








Dealer Sales Tools

There is also a new link on the Dealer Dashboard to Sales Tools. Sales Tools is deceptively simple but this link conceals some real power! Sales Tools is an interactive, sortable summary of sales information. Sales history can be summarized by product, collection, type, family, class and finish ... each column is sortable providing the ability to find the Best Sellers in each category.

Sales reps should find this area especially useful when preparing a visit with the dealer. We anticipate this tool to quickly become some of the most used web pages in FurnishWEB!

Other Patches and Fixes

With this release we've also included some minor improvements based on user feedback. There are now links to the Collection, Finish, Family, Class and Types while viewing a Product Detail. This will allow a quick return to the product list for those categories.

We've collapsed the Shipto Locations on the Dealer dashboard so they don't fill up so much screen space and opens up space for the new Sales Analysis charts. The user can reveal the list of Shipto locations by clicking on the Shipto Bar.

Release 3.0.5 - Product Updates

New Product Screen Features

We know that many FurnishWEB users aren't intimately familiar with a supplier's product line. They may not know the SKU numbers. They may not know the finish name. They may not know the suite name. The option to browse around the product line or to meander through photos would improve the experience for these users.

Today we are pleased to announce four new features in FurnishWEB: Product Photo View, Product Category Tag Cloud, Product List Pagination, and Product Finish Search.

Product Photo View

There is a new option on the product list view to show photos.



Selecting the Photos icon allows you to browse thumbnail photos in a category/search list of the products in addition to the traditional list view.









Product Category Tag Cloud

Instead of a opening the Product screen with no product information and asking you to search or filter to see a list products, the Product Screen now opens with a Tag Cloud view. Here you can view all the Collections, Finishes, Types, Classes, and Families of furniture in FurnishWEB.

The list makes the categories with more active pieces of furniture stand out for users so they can easily browse and find all your categories of furniture.











Product List Pagination

The old version of the product screens limited the number of products that could be returned in on category/search. We have removed this restriction and created pages of products so users can easily browse and navigate your whole product line by paging through the list or thumbnails.





Product Finish Search

We have also added finish to all the product related screens/features so you can find all the products for your favorite finish.

3.0.4 Release

We released a maintenance Invoice release this week.

Removed Invoice Status and paid information

This was a requested change from our users. Since most systems we import data from only have orders and invoice information, but not the paid amounts and totals we decided to remove this from Furnishweb. It just caused to much confusion. Users can still see the invoiced amounts and reprint them.

Updated the Order and Invoice removal

We fine tuned the Old Invoice and order removal process in Furnishweb. This insures that we keep only the Orders and Invoices for the range set in Settings.

Misc Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue with showing the incorrect invoices on the Ack reprint.
Fixed the Check box on the login to not save passwords.
Fixed the Over All Search to show Invoices and Order Po's.
Updated the Invoice Accumulation (for future features) to include warehouse.

3.0.2/3.0.3 Release

Dealer Price Lists

FurnishWEB now supports dealer specific pricing for products by warehouse and distribution. This new feature enables the Order Entry, Product Screens and Product Reports to show prices specific to individual dealers.

When a dealer price list is sent to FurnishWEB, it not only changes the prices for that dealer but also limits the products they see. If it's not in their price list a dealer cannot order that product or see information about it. This is especially useful in the case where a dealer is restricted from specific products in your product line.

The Product Reports have also been updated so sales reps and staff members can run a Product Price list for a dealer. It will show only that dealer's prices and the products they can order.

Dealer Exclusive Products

FurnishWEB now supports dealer exclusive products. These work by marking products that are made specifically for a single dealer and only that dealer can view or order it. This can be used for exclusive or OEM product lines for individual dealers. It can also be used for product lines that are exclusive to multiple dealers in different regions or countries.

EXAMPLE:

(00010)Barry's Furniture buys exclusive product 000-001. He also buys product 000-002 and 000-002 is also sold to (00020) Allison's Furniture of Canada. No other dealers could access product 000-001 except Barry's Furniture and no other dealers could access 000-002 except for Barry's Furniture and Allison's Furniture of Canada.

Invitation Tracking

FurnishWEB now tracks the person that invites users to view their manufacturing data. Along with this new feature we added an Excel report to export your users list. So you can contact them or import them into you contacts list. All new invitations will include the name, email address, and date of the person that sent the invitation.

Product List Improvements

We have greatly improved the product list and search web page for our clients using the photo library option. Many thanks to Bassett Mirror for helping us fine tune the application.

Staff Order Report Quick Links

We have added a new set of options to the Staff Dashboard in FurnishWEB today.

By popular demand Open and Shipped Orders can be run for a whole company in FurnishWEB from these links.

• Open - Runs an Open Order summary for all open orders
  
• Pending Acks - Runs an Acknowledgment reprint report for all pending orders.
• Shipments this Month - Runs the Order summary for all orders so for this month.
• Shipments last Month - Runs the Order Summary for all orders last month.

In the future FurnishWEB will allow you select the detail or summary view. We are also looking into compressing the Order Summary PDF so it's fewer pages and like the EXCEL version.

3.0.1 Patch Release

3.0.1 Patch has been released tonight.

Multiple Purchase Order Numbers

This was a minor release to support multiple Purchase Order numbers on Orders and Invoices.
On the order list and invoice list screens, only the first PO number is shown, although the search option will find any of the PO's. On the detail pages for these, all PO Numbers are displayed. All PO numbers are now displayed on the reports as well.

A minor bug, which in some cases showed the same invoice numbers on multiple Order reprints, has also been fixed.

3.0 Launched

We are pleased to announce the new release of FurnishWEB. FurnishWEB 3.0 is now live! The major additions in this release are Invoice support and Product Spec Sheet. We're very excited about this new release as it positions us for many new features and reports in the future.

Here are some of the new features available in this release:

Invoices: FurnishWEB now supports invoices as well as orders. There is a new Tab for searching and filtering invoices online. There are also new invoice reports and invoice summaries that have been added to the Overview tab.

Product Spec Sheet: For our customers that keep hi-res and/or print-version photos in FurnishWEB, we have a 'Print' option on the Product Detail page. This option will print a 1 page spec sheet of that product with a large photo, specs, and inventory.

Customer Service Rep: Many FurnishWEB companies have customer service reps using the system. Now Customer Service users can be associated with a Territory/Rep code. When a dealer user enters messages on an order, their CSR will be at the at top of the list to receive that message. Also, the Overview page for CSRs will default to their Territory/Rep code.

Photo Library upgrade: We changed the labels on the photo library links from 'Add to Cart' to 'Download Now/Download Later' to make this process more user-friendly.

Order Status/Shipment Tracking: We added FedEx & UPS tracking.

Order Entry Drop Ship: We added a drop-down list of states on the Drop-Ship addresses to include USA, Canada, Australia.

Order List: The order total now includes miscellaneous charges in the total.

Products: We've added a new status, 'Pending', to be used for those products that are pre-market and yet to be built. These 'Pending' products are only seen by Staff users.

Overview: Changed the Activity Log to group up shipments so more Dealer summary can be viewed. We also added quick links to the most popular reports so dealers and reps can quickly obtain a PDF or Excel version of these reports.

Reports: We changed the Report Options/Criteria from pop-up to normal web pages. Several users reported that they could not see the report options because they had their pop-up blocker turned on in their browser.

Security: We closed a loop-hole that allowed users to invite themselves and, in some cases, altering their permissions.
